URSUS TECHNOLOGY
UDR: UniDirectional Reinforced Carbon.This carbon fibre is designed to work in the line of force of the main load. This allows the rim to maintain a very high rigidness/weight ratio. The rim with this type of fibre is lighter and more resistant to loads and is reinforced with the addition of material in the nipples.
HTG: High-TG Resin System. Adding to the strength characteristics of UDR, the carbon is also soaked by a particular resin of which is highly resistant to high temperatures created from the brake pads on the rim. The result; lower deterioration of the carbon over time, greatly improving durability.
HPS: Heat Protection Shield. An essential element of the Miura C50 is the 3K carbon heat protection shield of which is added to the brake surface. This has been specifically designed to withstand the heat which is created from the rim during the breaking process. Braking performance is also greatly improved.
SLN: Self Locking Nipples. Thanks to the patented self-locking nipples the wheels stay centred and tensioned over time, improving durability.
BBS: Ball Bearing System. For optimal performance, 2 sets of bearings are positioned within the front wheel, while the rear has 2 sets positioned to the drive side and 1 set positioned within the non-drive side.

DESCRIPTION
The Miura C50 is a full carbon clincher wheelset with carbon hubs that gives you the benefit of a full carbon rim/brake surface with the ease and convenience of a clincher profile.

With a deep section 50mm profile and UD Monocoque construction, the HPS shield to the brake surface provides improved dissipation of heat derived from prolonged braking, thus making the wheel intensely durable. This wheel is perfect for the serious racer that demands the ulimate level of speed and responsiveness.
